SHIPPING INFO

*HOLIDAY ORDERS*

Hello! Due to the pandemic shipping this holiday season is going to be a little unpredictable due to the influx of online orders. Therefore, I suggest that you place your order sooner rather than later to have it in your hands on time. For ready to ship orders I would suggest ordering before December 1st. Please check processing times before you order and if you have any questions please email me at info@thefemmebohemian.com or here. 

PROCESSING TIME 

The Femme Bohemian ships globally from Saint John, NB Canada.

Please note that upon receiving payment, your items will ship within 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday) unless the product listing states otherwise. As a tiny independent business The Femme Bohemian does their best to package and ship everything as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience! Orders will be wrapped in tissue in a hand painted handmade envelope then shipped in a Eco-Friendly padded mailer.

All packages will be classified as 'merchandise.'  The Femme Bohemian will not mark international packages as gifts (it's illegal!).

POSTAL SERVICE

In an effort to save paper, The Femme Bohemian will not automatically send you a packing slip with your order. If you do need one, please be sure to send a note to info@thefemmebohemian.com. You should automatically receive a digital receipt when your payment in completed.

All orders will be shipped with Canada Post.

The Femme Bohemian is not responsible for packages shipped to the wrong address if the buyer supplied it. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information is correct before completing checkout.  If you think you have made a mistake and you have not received a shipping notification yet, please let email info@thefemmebohemian.com ASAP so shipping information can be adjusted before the package is sent.

In the event of a package 'returned to sender' the buyer is responsible for fees associated with re-sending the package.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES AND TRACKING

Estimated Delivery Times:

Canada: 1-7 business days (Tracking is available for all orders)

United States : 5-8 business days (Tracking is available for all orders) 

INTERNATIONAL: 6-10 business days (Tracking is NOT available for Small Packet International Air or Free Shipping, please choose Tracked Packet International or Xpresspost International in checkout)

These delivery times are only estimates. International mail is affected many circumstances beyond the control of The Femme Bohemian including, but not limited to customs delays, long distances, weather and local/foreign holidays. Please understand that once a package has been shipped, transit and delivery times are beyond the control of The Femme Bohemian. Please be patient and understand that international packages may take several weeks to arrive, but are very rarely completely lost. 

LOSS + DAMAGES

The Femme Bohemian will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of items while in transit. After your item ships, you will receive a confirmation and tracking number if Tracked Shipping option has been chosen.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS + CUSTOMS

For international orders (outside of Canada), please be mindful of your own country's customs regulations, as The Femme Bohemian cannot and will not be held responsible for any taxes, fees, loss or damage resulting from your package's processing through that system. Please keep in mind that international mail may be held for up to 4 weeks in customs. Depending on the laws and regulations of your country of residence, you might have to pay additional customs fees or taxes in order to you receive your package.
