Your satisfaction with your purchase and experience is of the utmost importance!.  Please don’t hesitate to contact info@thefemmebohemian.com with questions or concerns regarding your order.  

Due to the one of a kind nature of this work, returns and/or exchanges are not accepted.  Please make sure to read product descriptions, dimensions, and shipping policies carefully before completing your purchase.

*If you are located in the EU, legally you have a right to make returns within 14 business days. Item must be received by The Femme Bohemian in its original condition before a refund can be made. Return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer.

DEFECTS

In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged product (with the exception of damages incurred during transit as a result of mishandling by the shipping service) a refund may be possible.  Please contact info@thefemmebohemian.com within 2 days of receiving your purchase with images and a description of the damage.  Before a refund is possible, the defective product must be returned in it’s original condition and packaging.  Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer.  Because each is 100% handmade and one-of-a-kind exchanges or replacements are not possible.

Color variation will not be considered an acceptable description for a ‘defective or damaged’ refund or exchange.  Great care is taken to accurately document and describe each piece and color variations may occur due to your own monitor settings.

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

If your package is taking longer than the estimated delivery time, please be patient! Your package may be held up in customs for some reason and will still be delivered! In the case of a lost package, please contact your local post office for assistance. The Femme Bohemian is not responsible for lost or damaged packages after they have been shipped. 

Please check the integrity of the package or envelope before signing to receive the order. Refuse the package if it has been obviously damaged or tampered with. Please note, customs officials may open and examine package contents. In that case, the package will be resealed and officially stamped before being delivered.

RETURNED PACKAGES

If a package is returned to The Femme Bohemian because the buyer provided the wrong address or has not claimed a package after the delivery attempt, the buyer will be notified by email. A refund will not be issued. The buyer must repay the shipping costs before the item can be shipped again.

PROCESSING TIME + COST

The Femme Bohemian ships globally from Saint John, NB Canada.

Please note that upon receiving payment, your items will ship within 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday) unless the product listing states otherwise. As a tiny independent business The Femme Bohemian does their best to package and ship everything as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience! Orders will be wrapped in tissue in a hand painted handmade envelope then shipped in a bubble mailer.

All packages will be classified as 'merchandise.'  The Femme Bohemian will not mark international packages as gifts (it's illegal!).

POSTAL SERVICE

In an effort to save paper, The Femme Bohemian will not automatically send you a packing slip with your order. If you do need one, please be sure to send a note to info@thefemmebohemian.com. You should automatically receive a digital receipt when your payment in completed.

All orders will be shipped with Canada Post.

The Femme Bohemian is not responsible for packages shipped to the wrong address if the buyer supplied it. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information is correct before completing checkout.  If you think you have made a mistake and you have not received a shipping notification yet, please let email info@thefemmebohemian.com ASAP so shipping information can be adjusted before the package is sent.

In the event of a package 'returned to sender' the buyer is responsible for fees associated with re-sending the package.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES AND TRACKING

Estimated Delivery Times:

Canada: 1-7 business days (Tracking is available for all orders)

United States : 5-8 business days (Tracking is NOT available for Small Packet USA Air, please choose Tracked Packet USA or Xpresspost USA in checkout)

INTERNATIONAL: 6-10 business days (Tracking is NOT available for Small Packet International Air or Free Shipping, please choose Tracked Packet International or Xpresspost International in checkout)

These delivery times are only estimates. International mail is affected many circumstances beyond the control of The Femme Bohemian including, but not limited to customs delays, long distances, weather and local/foreign holidays. Please understand that once a package has been shipped, transit and delivery times are beyond the control of The Femme Bohemian. Please be patient and understand that international packages may take several weeks to arrive, but are very rarely completely lost. 

LOSS + DAMAGES

The Femme Bohemian will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of items while in transit. After your item ships, you will receive a confirmation and tracking number.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS + CUSTOMS

For international orders (outside of Canada), please be mindful of your own country's customs regulations, as The Femme Bohemian cannot and will not be held responsible for any taxes, fees, loss or damage resulting from your package's processing through that system. Please keep in mind that international mail may be held for up to 4 weeks in customs. Depending on the laws and regulations of your country of residence, you might have to pay additional customs fees or taxes in order to you receive your package
