Transgender Vulva Art, Peacock Embroidery
Feminism should be intersectional; therefore, I designed this peacock vagina embroidery hoop with traditional male peacock feathers as a nod to my trans friends. It once began as a drawing in pencil and was then was meticulously hand stitched.
Processing for this piece takes 1-2 weeks to complete.

How to take care of your art.
This piece is ready to hang, insert a framing nail (not included with purchase) through the metal clasp at the top of the hoop or hang from a ribbon or string. Please do not remove the outer wooden hoop from the piece. The embroidery hoop, originally a tool for holding the fabric taught for embroidering, now serves as a frame.
This is an art object and must be treated delicately. Pulling on or otherwise disturbing the threads on the front or back of the piece could cause damage.
